Ivan, Beth & Maya: JULY 2008: Maya says she wants to do it by herself. She's "just exercising." She will have ski poles and ride a motorcycle when she is older. For now, play dough is enough. OCTOBER 2008: The cookie monster no longer wants to be called Maya Papaya. "I'm just Maya Eden Kowski." And instead of saying "whatever" which she knows we don't wish to hear, she says something like "what ever I want I can do if I want to all by myself." Or something like that. After telling us she wanted to be a camel or a penguin for Halloween she is now insistent on being the cookie monster. Craig's List to the rescue! Let's hope this year she actually says "Trick or Treat" instead of "I want some Candy." A bear got into our garbage last night, so besides remedying that situation, we'll have to be cautious about our pumpkin and trick-or-treating. So far, our compost hasn't been raided. We hope to carve the pumpkin into a jack-o'lantern tomorow night but may not be able to leave it outside.
